Eutonia reads heart rate, HRV (heart rate variability), resting heart rate, sleep analysis, respiratory rate, workout data, step count, and active calories from Apple Health. All data processing happens on your device - nothing is sent to external servers.

While Eutonia works best with an Apple Watch (for continuous heart rate and sleep stage data), you can still use many features with just your iPhone. However, for the most accurate recovery and strain scores, we recommend using an Apple Watch that tracks your health metrics throughout the day and night.

Your Recovery Score is calculated each morning based on four key factors: HRV compared to your 14-day baseline (40%), resting heart rate relative to your baseline (25%), sleep quality and duration (25%), and the impact of previous day's strain (10%). A higher score indicates your body is ready for intense activity, while a lower score suggests focusing on rest.

Yes, absolutely. Eutonia processes all your health data entirely on your iPhone. We don't have servers that store your health information, and we never transmit your data anywhere. Your health metrics stay on your device under your complete control. You can delete all app data at any time from the Settings menu.

Strain measures your accumulated cardiovascular load throughout the day - it only goes up as you exercise and expend effort. Body Battery is dynamic - it starts at your Recovery Score in the morning and changes throughout the day, depleting during activity and slowly recharging during rest periods. Think of Strain as "how much work you've done" and Body Battery as "how much energy you have left."

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. After cancellation, you'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial subscription periods, but Apple may in some circumstances.
